At Z. Axl’s Dig Yard, emotional safety is built into the experience from the very beginning. Families start in the emotion selection tunnel, where children can recognize how they're feeling before deciding where to begin. From there, they can choose the movement and grounding of our 1,300 square-feet indoor sandbox or the quieter pace of the art studio, with caregivers by their side throughout the session.

Our intentionally limited capacity, calming environment, and predictable layout help reduce sensory overload, making it easier for children to settle in and participate on their own terms.
